Alan Clark

Alan Clark
Jefferson County Farm Bureau President
& AFBF P&E Committee Vice Chair

Alan Clark is a fifth-generation farmer who works side-by-side with his father and brother on the family’s 1,200 acres. Alan and his wife have four daughters and strive each day to share the importance of their faith and love of community. Alan serves as the Jefferson County Farm Bureau President and just finished serving as the IFBF Promotion & Education Committee Chair.  He began his second two-year term on the AFBF P&E Committee in March 2023.

Alan’s family raises alfalfa, malt barley, and wheat on their irrigated farmland. They also have 500 Black Angus cow-calf pairs. He enjoys welding and does custom work and repairs.

With four daughters between the ages of 15-5, you can find them all working hard on the farm, riding horses at the ranch, downhill skiing, or white-water rafting. He considers himself lucky to show his children the importance of promoting agriculture and share his love of the industry.

The topic of the Presentation- Speaking up for Agriculture.

Over the past seven years, I have been fortunate enough to travel throughout the country and advocate for the importance of agriculture. During my presentation, I will be discussing why it is essential to share our agriculture story, the skills that I have acquired in doing so, and how we can apply those skills in our day-to-day lives.
