Lance Hansen

Lance Hansen is a native Idahoan who was born and raised in the farming town of Rupert. He earned his bachelor’s degree in family and consumer sciences with an emphasis on family finance from Utah State University. He later received a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Western New Mexico University before joining the University of Idaho Extension team. As an Extension Educator, he uses his financial background to help with farm business and succession classes for farmers and ranchers. Since 2019, he has been working to improve the awareness of mental health issues related to stress associated with working in agriculture in Idaho.
