Avian Imports

ISDA sets forth requirements for all animals entering the state of Idaho.  Avian species included in IDAPA 02.04.21 “Rules Governing the Importation of Animals” are game birds, poultry, ratities, waterfowl, and wildlife.   Please use this information as a general guide when shipping avian species into Idaho, and don’t hesitate to contact us when you have questions. These requirements only cover animals entering Idaho – please see our export resources if you are shipping animals to another state.

Permits are no longer required when using an approved electronic CVI form. The only approved eCVI forms are those from GlobalVetLink, State of Oregon, AgMove (formerly AgView), Vet Sentry, Sale Time, Mi-Corporation, myVetTech, Acclaim Systems VET CVI and State of Texas. If you are not using one of these forms, normal permit requirements still apply.
