Audit programs provide producers and suppliers of agricultural products the opportunity to assure customers of their ability to provide consistent quality products or services. The Agricultural Marking Service (AMS) verifies their documented programs through independent, third-party audits. AMS audit and accreditation programs are voluntary and paid through hourly user-fees.

USDA Forms and Resources

Form SC-237A is used by audit service personnel to collect information when service applications are submitted. This information helps auditors ensure that the appropriate audit service is provided, the correct operation is audited, and the official audit certificates contain accurate details. It also assists the audit office in directing the proper billing for these services
