5-10 g per tissue; >2 mL fluids Tissue: cotyledons/placenta, fetal lung, liver, stomach contents. If no placenta, use umbilical tissue or swab inside of fetus mouth.

Ship samples cold, NOT frozen, on indirect ice packs. If sending a liquid sample, package in leak-proof container with absorbent material. Only one tissue sample per bag.
