COLLECTION PROTOCOL

Send samples as soon as possible (24-48 hours). However, samples may be tested up to 4 days after collection if kept cold.

Collect feces directly from rectum or immediately after defecation to minimize contamination and external debris. DO NOT collect portion of feces that has been in contact with the ground.

Keep cold but not frozen.
