2025 Produce Safety Qualified Exemption Renewal – Late Forms Due May 2nd
The 2025 deadline for Qualified Exemption status renewals was March 21st.
As a reminder, all previously determined Qualified Exempt farms under the Produce Safety Rule are required to verify their information with ISDA at least once annually. Without this verification, farms cannot be considered Qualified Exempt for the year 2025 and would therefore be subject to comply with the entirety of the Produce Safety Rule, including routine inspections.
To avoid an in-person visit to determine your farm’s status for the remainder of the 2025 year, all late forms must be submitted no later than Friday, May 2nd.
You can complete this form online by visiting our website.
Produce Safety Verification Form Deadline
Each year, previously determined Qualified Exempt (QE) farms are required to submit a request to ISDA for coverage status determination in accordance with the Produce Safety Rule (PSR).
Please submit your new verification form no later than March 21st to help us determine your QE status for this year.
If your QE status is established or renewed for 2025, your operation is still subject to modified requirements in accordance with the PSR and it is encouraged that you stay up to date with ISDA’s FSMA news and changes.
