Through IDAPA 02.04.13 “Rules Governing Raw Milk,” the Dairy Bureau governs the production, processing and sale of raw milk and raw milk products for human consumption, but not intended for pasteurization.

Any producer selling unpasteurized milk or unpasteurized milk products in Idaho must have a permit issued through the Idaho State Department of Agriculture.  All animals participating in the program will be tested annually for brucellosis and tuberculosis.
