SPECIMEN REQUIREMENTS
Samples will be rejected if frozen.
COLLECTION PROTOCOL
Collect feces directly from rectum or immediately after defecation to minimize contamination and external debris.
Keep cold but not frozen.
Samples may be tested up to 4 days after collection if kept cold.
Any sample containing a needle will be rejected.

Ship samples cold, NOT frozen, on indirect ice packs.
If sending a liquid sample, package in leak-proof container with absorbent material.
