Equine

In Idaho, the term “equine” includes horses, mules, asses, and zebras, all of which can be found living in Idaho.  Most are kept as companion animals and used for such things as hunting, pleasure rides, rodeo and barrel events.  Some equines in Idaho are used on farms in assisting food or fiber production; these are considered “production animals” and may have slightly different requirements in Idaho.
