The Idaho State Department of Agriculture (ISDA) is announcing a series of training seminars focusing on the Worker Protection Standard (WPS) and Idaho’s chemigation requirements. The seminars will address the revisions and updates to the WPS, which are now in effect, as well as the requirements for chemigation in Idaho. Following the training presentations, the chemigation licensing exam will be offered for those interested in obtaining the chemigation category (CH) on their private or professional pesticide applicator license.
These seminars are intended for operators of farms, nurseries, greenhouses, and other agricultural producers that operate under the WPS and chemigation requirements. Pesticide dealers and professional pesticide applicators who provide services to these establishments are also welcome to attend.
Each training seminar will begin at 9:00 am on the following dates and last approximately two hours. Two (2) pesticide recertification credits will be offered for licensed applicators. The exam session for individuals wanting to take the chemigation licensing exam will follow immediately afterward. Only the chemigation exam will be offered as part of this training.
