Rules Governing Importation of Animals
IDAPA 02.04.21

Based on recommendations from the Western States Livestock Health Association, the department proposes initiating rulemaking that would harmonize Trichomoniasis (Trich) testing regulations for all western states.

A summary of the changes this rule would make:

IDAPA 02.04.21.260.01 – The accepted age for virgin bulls imported into Idaho would be changed to 18 months from 12 months.

IDAPA 02.04.21.260.02 – The validity of a Trich test would be extended to 60 days from 30 days.
