Idaho Preferred Proposed Rule Changes Published
Product qualifications for the Idaho Preferred program are currently in the process of a proposed rule change. New product qualifications are proposed for water and beer that did not fit well into the current rules. Other revisions are also proposed for beef and game meat.
The proposed rule changes were discussed at an industry meeting in June and were published in the August Idaho Administrative Bulletin. The proposed rules will be presented to the Idaho legislature in January for final approval.
