Rules for Weights and Measures – Diesel and Gasoline Gallon Equivalents
IDAPA 02.02.14
Petitioned by the Natural Gas Vehicles of America, the department proposes to adopt the National Conference of Weights and Measures (NCWM) definitions of the diesel gallon equivalent (DGE) and gasoline gallon equivalent (GGE) for liquefied and compressed natural gas used as motor fuel.
Also, the proposed rule will make an addition to the petroleum products section that clarifies this method of sale.
